My passion has always been makeup and I feel strongly that to achieve a professional look and finish you don’t need to be a makeup artist, you just need the right cosmetics and you need to invest in high quality cosmetic tools. This is why I have developed the Blink in Pink Makeup Brush range which, despite the extremely high quality of the brushes, is affordable at as low as only £2.60 per brush for the full 20 piece set. 

Ever since I can remember I have surrounded myself with makeup, trying different colours and ways of applying cosmetics. I have always been entrepreneurial, so at 18 I decided that high quality makeup was expensive and therefore out of reach for many people, so I started trying to source makeup at a cheaper price. In 2007 after a lot of research I set up the successful Discount Cosmetics 4u website selling high end beauty brands at discounted prices. Then in 2009 I went on to open my own makeup studio in Southend-on-Sea where I carry out makeovers on a daily basis. I was surprised to find that most people who I do makeovers for, don’t even use makeup brushes to apply their makeup and when I asked them why, they said they didn’t know where to buy them from or didn’t know which ones to get? I can appreciate that it would be off putting when you search for a powder brush and you find in excess of 20 different types and prices as high as £30 for just one brush.

I decided that I needed to develop a range of makeup brushes that had an affordable price tag, yet would still deliver the quality needed to achieve a model look and if looked after correctly, would last a lifetime. Each of the 20 brushes in the collection has its own distinct use which is explained in the descriptions and the most expensive brush is only £8.99. That’s not to mention the stylish chic design with the bright pink funnel and sturdy black handle, which makes these brushes the perfect present for any lucky lady.
